Waiting to Rise was started back in November 2010 as a place to collect the recipes I deemed as "keepers". However, I'd like it to evolve into something bigger than that....with pictures, and commentary, and fun! For so long, I lived feeling like I wasn't good enough or smart enough to matter. I didn't have my own voice. My love affair with food has allowed me to start talking....and now that I've started, I will never stop.
